St. Joseph’s JV Wins Monsignor Farrell Holiday Tournament

STATEN ISLAND, NY–On Sunday, GMC Hoops learned that the Junior Falcons of St. Joseph’s JV squad won the Championship of the 2010 Monsignor Farrell Christmas Tournament. St. Joe’s JV, which lost to Farrell in the final of this tourney last year, defeated Tottenville in the opening round (64-52) and then avenged last year’s loss by downing Farrell (68-48) in the Championship. The Junior Falcons are now 4-2, and could very well be undefeated at 6-0. The only two losses thus far this season have been to St. Anthony’s on December 20th by six (44-38) and at East Brunswick on December 23rd (51-50). The other two wins for St. Joe’s JV were over Colonia on opening night and Old Bridge.
