St. Joe’s-Green Freshmen Team Wins Farrell Tourney

STATEN ISLAND, NY–In addition to the JV winning their tourney at the Monsignor Farrell Christmas Tournament, the St. Joe’s-Green Freshmen team also won the title at the Farrell Freshmen Tourney. The Little Falcons defeated Cardinal Spellman in the opening round (57-28), and then defeated Farrell in the Championship (60-43). With the two victories, St. Joseph’s-Green improved to 4-1 on the season with its only loss coming at the hands of St. Anthony’s (63-49) on December 20th. The Little Falcons also defeated Colonia in their season opener (77-20) and East Brunswick (53-41).
