SAYREVILLE, NJ–On Thursday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to the Bomb Shelter at Sayreville High School to see the Bombers in action against second ranked Cardinal McCarrick. The Eagles used a 19-7 run to end the first period, and a 17-6 tear to end the third en route to a 75-46 victory over the Bombers. McCarrick, which had 12 different players break into the scoring column, got a team high 12 points from junior guard, Ahmid Williams while two players, Will Thomas and Marques Townes, chipped in with 9 points. Four players including Charlie Gorman, John Appiah, Jeremy Cruz, and Jumanne McDaniel added eight points. Chris Piniero led Sayreville with 12 points while teammate Corey Taite chipped in with 10.
