MSC To Begin Inaugural Summer Leagues On June 13th
MONROE, NJ–On Tuesday, GMC Hoops received information from Matt Bloom of the Monroe Sports Center regarding its inaugural summer leagues to take place starting in June. MSC, which had its first fall league this past fall, is now planning to have an inaugural summer league for both Boys and Girls.
Ten game seasons will commence on June 13th with the Boys Summer League running on Tuesday and Thursday nights while the Girls Summer League will be run on Monday and Wednesday nights. GMC Hoops will try to head down to MSC to cover some of the action. Here are details on the leagues:
- AIR-CONDITIONED FACILITY
- 2 Games per week: Boys Tues/Thur, Girls Mon/Wed
- Season goes from June 13 – July 21
- Varsity Teams Only
- 2 Certified Varsity Officials at each game
- Official scorekeeper at each game
- State-of-the-art, regulation size basketball courts, 2 electronic scoreboards on each court
- 10 League T-shirts (extra shirts $8 each)
- High Tech Video Cameras on each court recording all games – DVD’s Available
- Optimal Mezzanine Seating and Viewing
- Play new teams: teams from Colonial Valley Conference, Greater Middlesex Conference, Shore Conference, Skyland Conference and more
