SAYREVILLE, NJ–On Monday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Sayreville War Memorial High School after work to see the Bombers take on Carteret in a crossover between GMC White and Blue Division teams. After taking a 25-19 halftime lead, the Ramblers began the second half with a 12-2 tear for a 37-21 lead, but had to hold on as Sayreville rallied to pull within three at 43-40 midway through the fourth. Carteret got two huge baskets to go up by seven, and went on to win 52-44. Below is the play-by-play from the final two periods of action.

7:36–CAR–Avery Carter dishes to #44 for layup and a 27-19 lead.

3:36–CAR–#11–gets on the ground and fights for a steal, passes to Nigro, who pushes the ball upcourt, and dishes left to Juwan Coston for a layup, and a 37-21 lead.
3:16–SAY–#3 swipes steal, and passes to Johnson, who draws foul, and makes 1 of 2 FTs for a 37-22 CAR lead.
