The Vikings jumped out to a 15-4 lead midway through the first period, and led 31-19 early in the third before the Bears stormed back with a 17-5 surge that included a three point play by Mike Summerer and two NBA range threes by Joey Ross to tie the game at 36-36.
From that point on, the game was nip and tuck as both teams took leads. After the game was tied 50-50 at the end of regulation, EB took a 54-50 and a 57-53 lead only to have the Vikings tie the game and force a second OT thanks to two threes from Sean Keenan and one of two from the line by Mike Green.
In the second extra session, the Bears emerged victorious by the score of 66-60 thanks to a 9-3 showing in the period with six of the final seven points including a layup by Summerer with 46.3 seconds left, two free throws by Rob Ukawuba with 19.1 seconds left, and a pair of charity shots by Ross with 11.0 seconds to go.
