Here are video highlights from Cardinal McCarrick’s 56-49 victory over Woodbridge in the season opener for both teams. Despite a game high 29 point effort from Woodbridge’s Kyle Pearson, the Eagles were able to triumph thanks to a 26 point performance from sophomore Marques Townes, and a 10 point, 8 rebound, 4 block, and 3 charges effort from fellow soph Alonzo Hamilton. The Eagles jumped out to a 15-7 first quarter lead as Townes scored 12 of his points in the frame, and then led the rest of the way.
