Here are video highlights from the second half of action in the quarterfinal round game in the 2012 East Brunswick/GMC JV Tournament. Piscataway led by the score of 36-22 at halftime, and led 40-26 with under five minutes to go in the third before North Brunswick erupted for a 24-4 outburst over a span of nearly 10 minutes to take a 50-44 lead with 3:10 remaining.
The Junior Chiefs would rally though with six unanswered points to tie the game at 50-50 with just under a minute remaining in the contest only to have North Brunswick’s Sterling Smith knock down a three from the left wing with 37 seconds to go for a 53-50 lead. Joe Hines scored on a putback to pull P-Way within one with 14.9 seconds to go, but a three point attempt from the left side hit the rim as time ran out with the Junior Raiders winning 53-52.
