MONROE, NJ–In the final round of action in the second week of games, South Brunswick took on New Egypt in a battle of David vs. Goliath, and a clash between GMC and Burlington County Scholastic League foes. The Vikings will be looking to improve upon their second straight Elite Eight berth in the GMC, and with the likes of Chris Bourne, Corey Lumpkin, and St. Joseph’s transfer Sal Hasan along with the likes of talented sophomores such as Jason Stonkus, they have a good chance to do that. SBHS showed plenty of depth with players being rotated in and out. The depth proved to be too much in the end as the Warriors were worn down as the Vikes put together a 15-3 surge over a span of 4:14 to take a 56-38 lead.
