Here are some highlights from the contest between Cardinal McCarrick and Colts Neck in the third week of action from the Hoop Group Headquarters Fall League. Despite a solid performance from St. Patrick’s transfer Jacquan Madden, the Eagles gave way to a first half ending 16-0 run that turned a 24-12 advantage into a 28-24 halftime deficit. The Cougars then put together a 29-17 start to the second half for a 57-41 lead with just over two minutes to go before McCarrick rallied with a 14-4 spurt to end the game in a 61-55 Colts Neck victory.
