HILLSBOROUGH, NJ–GMC Hoops finished up a busy day of hoops action by taking in a fifth game at Hillsborough High School. The Championship Game of the Hillsborough Holiday Hoops Tourney was played between Carteret and Hillsborough with the Raiders pulling away from an 14-11 lead with a 33-6 surge over a span of 14:16 for a 47-17 lead en route to a 61-35 win. Jalen Parham, the son of New Brunswick athletic director, Lenny Parham, was selected tournament MVP for Hillsborough. Below are game notes from the contest.
