CARTERET, NJ–After taking a trip to the Dunn Center, GMC Hoops traveled down Route 1 South, and over to Route 27 to get over to Carteret High School to see the Ramblers take on seventh ranked Piscataway Tech in a Blue Division Clash. In the best game of the day, and one of the best games of the year, Piscataway Tech and Carteret went at it for four quarters with neither team having a lead bigger than eight points, and seven lead changes and five ties from the very end of the third quarter to the end of the game. Finally, Piscataway Tech took the lead for good with 43.2 seconds remaining as sophomore guard, Aziz Austin knocked home a three pointer from the right side for a 54-52 lead. Carteret had a couple chances to score including one with 3.9 seconds left, but came up short as the Raiders won to tie the Ramblers for second place behind Spotswood in the GMC Blue.
