Cardinal McCarrick and Piscataway To Represent GMC In Inaugural Showcase At Kean
UNION, NJ–This coming weekend there will be another high school boys basketball showcase over at Harwood Arena on the campus of Kean University. The inaugural Investor Savings Games will be played on January 12th and January 13th at Kean. Proceeds from the contest will be used to fund scholarships according to a recent article at nj.com. Two teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference, Cardinal McCarrick and Piscataway will be among the teams competing in the event. Below is the schedule of games for the two days.
2013 Investor Savings Games–Day One–Saturday, January 12th
- Union vs. Franklin, 1:00 PM
- Rahway vs. St. Mary, 2:30 PM
- Seton Hall Prep vs. Cardinal McCarrick, 4:15 PM
- Plainfield vs. Ridge, 6:00 PM
- Elizabeth vs. Roselle Catholic, 7:30 PM
2013 Investor Savings Games–Day Two–Sunday, January 13th
- Westfield vs. Hillsborough, 1:00 PM
- Bloomfield vs. Piscataway, 2:30 PM
- Union vs. Roselle, 4:15 PM
- Linden vs. Union Catholic, 6:00 PM
- Marist vs. St. Peter’s Prep, 7:30 PM
GMC Hoops will not be attending this event. Instead the site plans to travel over to Montgomery to see EB play the Cougars in the Coaches vs. Cancer shootout there on January 12th.
