SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Friday night, Cardinal McCarrick played host to St. John Vianney of Holmdel in a non-conference regular season matchup. The Eagles fell behind 12-2 in the first period, but rallied to tie the score three times in the second period, and actually took the lead on a couple of occasions in the third before Vianney went on an 11-0 run over a 2:06 span to take the lead for good at 45-37 en route to a 66-57 win over the Eagles.
