Sayreville Upends Point Pleasant Beach; Old Bridge Toppled By Point Boro
NEPTUNE, NJ–On Monday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to the Hoop Group Headquarters to take in the final week of action at the 2013 Fall League there. Both Old Bridge and Sayreville were in action with the Bombers playing during the 7:00 PM hour and the Knights playing during the 9:00 PM hour. Sayreville squared off against Point Beach, and had a nine point lead with a little over five minutes remaining. Point Beach rallied with a couple threes to pull within a possession, but couldn’t get any closer as Sayreville won by eight. Meanwhile, Old Bridge fell behind 10-0, and trailed by as much as 14 in the first half, and could never really recover in an 11 point loss.
