The Lions had a 70-55 lead in the 2nd half before withstanding a late surge by Mercy College in the form of a 27-15 run to pull within one possession in the waning moments. Trey Jones sealed the win with two free throws with 1.5 seconds left, Jason Wejnert had a team high 23 points, and Woodbridge’s Keith Hughes had a season high 22 points in the 87-82 victory.
