Two GMC Teams Competing In Annual Rahway Holiday Tourney
RAHWAY, NJ–On Wednesday, GMC Hoops obtained the schedule for the upcoming John “Butch” Kowal Holiday Tournament, which is taking place Thursday, December 26th, Friday, December 27th, and Monday, December 30th at the Rahway High School. Two GMC teams are scheduled to compete including: Cardinal McCarrick and Colonia. Also participating is defending Group I State Champion, and T of C quarterfinalist, Point Pleasant Beach. Below is the schedule for the upcoming tourney:
2013 John “Butch” Kowal Tournament–Opening Round–December 26th
- Holmdel vs. Cardinal McCarrick, 6:00 PM
- Rahway vs. Union, 7:30 PM
2013 John “Butch” Kowal Tournament–Consolation and Semifinals–December 27th
- Consolation: Holmdel-McCarrick loser vs. Rahway-Union loser, 4:30 PM
- Semifinal #1: Point Pleasant Beach vs. Rahway-Union winner, 6:00 PM
- Semifinal #2: Colonia vs. Holmdel-McCarrick winner, 7:30 PM
2013 John “Butch” Kowal Tournament–Consolation and Championship–December 30th
- Consolation: Semifinal #1 loser vs. Semifinal #2 loser, 6:00 PM
- Championship: Semifinal #1 winner vs. Semifinal #2 winner, 7:30 PM
