Here is a slideshow of photos taken from the action in the American Athletic Conference season opener between Rutgers and Temple at the Rutgers Athletic Center in Piscataway. In a homecoming game, former St. Joseph’s standout, Quenton DeCosey poured in a game high 25 points on 9 of 14 shooting overall from the floor including 6 of 7 from beyond the arc while also collecting 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. It wasn’t enough though as Rutgers had four different players score in double figures led by Kadeem Jack, who scored 18 points in a 71-66 victory.
