Colonia JV Summer League Looking For Teams

League Running for the 13th Year

COLONIA, NJ–On Tuesday, GMC Hoops received word from Colonia JV and varsity assistant boys basketball coach, Brian O’Lone that the Colonia JV Summer League is looking for teams.  This will be the 13th year that the league has been in existence. This league is for players that are presently in the 9th and 10th grade, and are projected to be on the JV squad next season.  Five teams have already committed to play in this year’s league.

The league is sponsored by the Woodbridge Township Recreation Department. Each team is guaranteed 7 or 8 games plus playoffs.  Game times will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM each night at either Colonia Middle School or Colonia High School.  The league usually runs from late June through July.  All teams will receive 12 team jerseys.  Cost to play in the league is $500 for a team with 12 players.  League fee must be paid in full by the end of the first week of play.  First come, first serve.  All checks are to be made out to Brian O’Lone.
