MSC Offering Boys and Girls Varsity and Boys Sub-Varsity Leagues This Year
MONROE, NJ–On Thursday night, GMC Hoops learned from both Spotswood head boys basketball head coach Steve Mate and Freehold boys basketball assistant coach, Andrew Guy, who both work at the Monroe Sports Center, that the MSC Summer League details have just been finalized, and it is looking for teams to play in its league this year. This is the fourth year that MSC will be running the league. Over the years, teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference, Shore Conference, Skyland Conference, Colonial Valley Conference, and Burlington County Scholastic league have competed in this league. Below are details on the league:
2014 MSC Summer League–Details
- Three leagues: Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity, Boys Sub-Varsity.
- 10 Game Schedule: From June 23rd to July 31st.
- Flexible Scheduling: Games will be played from Monday to Thursday nights.
- Doubleheader option.
- Cost: $675 per team–10 t-shirts included ($8 per extra shirt).
- Certified Varsity Officials.
- Air Conditioned Facility.
- State of the Art Courts.
- Two scoreboards on every court.
- Optimal Mezzanine Seating & Viewing.
