Here is a slideshow from photos taken of the action in the Mid-Jersey Basketball Spring League between East Brunswick and Freehold Boro on the second Thursday of April 2014. EB overcame a 29-21 deficit with an 18-7 tear capped by a three from Matt Perel, a putback by Billy Donahue, and another three by Nick Fudali for a 39-36 lead with about 8:30 remaining. Over the next 6:26 or so, Freehold Boro rallied with 8 straight points to take a 44-39 lead before Perel hit another trey to close the gap to two with just over two minutes left. Freehold then scored the next 6 points including two pairs of free throws and a two handed jam for a 50-42 lead en route to a 51-45 victory.
