SOUTH RIVER, NJ–In the nightcap of the Tuesday night doubleheader at the 2014 Raritan Bay Summer League, the Rams of South River were in action against the Jayhawks. The home team fell behind 10-0 thanks to two early threes by the Jayhawks, and that deficit grew to 24-9 late in the first half. The Rams clawed to within a baker’s dozen at the half, but were unable to get any closer than 11 points in the second half in a 48-33 loss. Below are game notes from the action.

5:01–JAY–timeout after an 8-4 SR rally capped by a steal and a pass ahead to Darrar for layup and a 40-29 JAY lead.
3:42–SR–timeout with JAY leading 42-31 following a JAY layup from left side and two fts by Darrar.
1:20–JAY–steal by Noah Westbrook for layup and a 46-33 lead.
1:11–JAY–another steal for layup and a 48-33 lead.
