Eric Dadika and Matt Ciaccio Provide Bright Spots For Chargers In Loss
MONROE, NJ–In the nightcap game of the Thursday night tripelheader at the 2014 Monroe Sports Center Summer League. The Spotswood Chargers took on the Allentown Redbirds of the Colonial Valley Conference. The game was a struggle for Spotswood, which fell behind 42-21 with about 11 minutes left in the game, and could never really recover. After Allentown took a 46-24 lead with seven minutes to play, soon to be sophomore big man, Matt Ciaccio converted a three point play at the 6:29 mark followed by two threes from Erick Dadika to narrow the deficit to 49-33 with under five minutes to go. However, the Chargers were unable to get any closer as the Redbirds closed the game with a 16-5 tear for the 65-38 victory.
