RAHWAY, NJ–In the finale of the GMC Hoops tripleheader at the 2014 Rahway Summer League on Tuesday, two GMC teams went at it as Edison faced off against Perth Amboy Tech. In another tight one, both teams went back and forth exchanging the leads in the first half. Edison, which led by one at the intermission, opened the second half on a 9-0 run to take a 26-16 lead only to have Amboy Tech respond with a 10-2 tear to pull within a bucket. Edison would stay in front though the rest of the way as the Eagles led by six on a couple of occasions before hanging on for a 39-36 victory. Below are the game notes from the contest.
