RAHWAY, NJ–In the second game of the GMC Hoops tripleheader at the 2014 Rahway Summer League on Tuesday night, Perth Amboy took on A.L. Johnson of Clark. The Crusaders jumped out to a 6-0 lead as Amboy didn’t score for nearly the first 4:30 of the contest. However, the Panthers didn’t stay down for long as they went on a 28-2 tear over the last 15:35 of the opening half for a 28-10 lead, and never looked back in a 57-25 victory. 8:19–PA–scores on follow off missed three for 5 more unanswered points and a 48-13 lead.
4:54–ALJ–after PA got a score to go up by 37, the Crusaders broke an 8 minute scoring drought with a three from right corner for a 50-16 PA lead.
4:28–ALJ–connects on three from left wing for a 50-19 PA lead.
3:57–ALJ–layup for a 50-21 lead.
3:48–PA–basket and foul for a three point play and a 53-21 lead.
3:19–ALJ–gets kind roll on foul line jumper for a 53-23 PA lead.
2:55–PA–hits jumper from right elbow for a 55-23 lead.
