Here is a slideshow of photos taken from the action in a GMC White contest between New Brunswick and Edison from week five. The Eagles jumped out to a 20-6 halftime lead behind 7 points from Juston Payne, 6 points from Brandon Radd, and 5 points from Justin Turner. New Brunswick rallied back though with a 17-5 tear in the third quarter to tie the game up at 25-25 before Payne connected on a three from the right side of the key for a 28-25 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
NBHS started the fourth on a 6-3 run to tie the game at 31-31 and even held a one point lead, but Edison finished the game on a 15-4 tear including the final 8 points of the contest as Al Newcome and Ish Treadwell got layups for a 36-32 lead, and then the Eagles sealed the win by scoring its last 10 points from the line including a perfect 4 of 4 from John Zanfordino for the 46-35 victory. Payne led all scorers with a game high 13 points while Brandon Radd chipped in with 10 points and Justin Turner added 8. Ish Treadwell grabbed 10 rebounds while New Brunswick was led by Maurice Ffrench, who scored 12 points including 8 in the second half while Trevon Blakey scored all 11 of his points over the final two periods.
