Here are highlights of the action in the Blue Division showdown between top ranked Cardinal McCarrick and 10th ranked Carteret at the midpoint of the 2014-15 season. Carteret controlled the game for much of the first three quarters, and led 31-24 early in the fourth before Cardinal McCarrick rallied with a 12-2 tear to end the game including three pointers by NyQuan McCombs and Gilberto Cue, and a jumper by McCombs for a hard fought 36-33 victory to remain undefeated at 12-0. Ralph Menar led the Eagles balanced attack with 8 points while McCombs, Cue, and Elijah Mitchell each chipped in with 7. Jaquan Robertson led all scorers with 13 points for Carteret while teammate Brandon Gilder chipped in with 8.
