Chiefs and P-Way Tech Raiders to Get Some Love This Week
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–We are in the final days of January, and GMC Hoops has still yet to see two of the teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference: Â Piscataway and Piscataway Tech. Â As a result, the site has decided to devote most of this week’s game coverage to those two schools. Â GMC Hoops plans to see all or part of the three games involving the Raiders, and the two contests involving the Chiefs.
First, GMC Hoops will be at Piscataway Tech HS on Wednesday afternoon to see the Raiders take on South River in a rematch of a hotly contest game played two weeks ago in South River, and won by the Raiders (72-70). Â Then, the site will travel over to Metuchen and take in the remainder of the contest between second ranked St. Joseph’s and Piscataway. Â On Thursday, GMC Hoops will be at P-Way to see some of the action between the Chiefs and Perth Amboy before heading out to South Brunswick to see the contest between the Vikings and North Brunswick.
On Friday and Saturday, GMC Hoops will take in two more games involving P-Way Tech as the Raiders host Perth Amboy Tech in a big GMC Gold showdown on Friday evening followed by a Saturday morning contest between the Raiders and South Amboy. Â The game between P-Way Tech and the Guvs is a make up date for the contest that was originally supposed to be played on Monday night, but was postponed due to the approaching Northeast Blizzard. Â The site will most likely only be able to see the second half of Saturday’s game due to other commitments.
