GMC Hoops Slideshow–February 20, 2015–#17 Perth Amboy @ #9 Bishop Ahr–Amboy Freshmen Tourney

Here is a slideshow of photos taken from the action in a quarterfinal round game of the 2015 Perth Amboy Freshmen Tournament between 17th seeded Amboy and 9th seeded Ahr. In a first quarter that had seven lead changes and a tie, 17th seeded Perth Amboy finished the frame on an 8-3 run to take a 17-13 first quarter lead. Bishop Ahr cut the lead to two at the half on a basket by Jordan Wells, and then took a one point 34-33 lead at the start of the third on a three pointer by Alex Santiago. However, Amboy scored 6 of the next 8 points for a 39-36 lead never relinquished its advantage the rest of the way in a 62-50 victory over the 9th seeded Trojans at BGA. Luis Bonilla led the Little Panthers in victory with 16 points while Adam Gornowicz chipped in with 15 and Dario Demoria added 14. Santiago led all scorers with 21 points for the Little Trojans while Matt Mellos chipped in with 10 and Wells added 9 in defeat.
