Sayreville Climbs Back Up to .500 After Edging Watchung Hills, 39-35
UNION, NJ–On Wednesday night, GMC Hoops returned again to Harwood Arena to take in the sixth night of action from the 2015 Kean University Spring League. It was the third visit of the spring for the site. All 12 teams were in action including Sayreville, the lone representative from the GMC in the league, which was taking on Watchung Hills of the Skyland Conference. The Bombers trailed by eight early in the second half, but went on a decisive 12-1 tear including six points and a dunk by Jahsim Floyd, and then got threes from Mitchell Strandberg and Zach Alessi to increase the lead to 39-33 late before winning by four.
