SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–In the first game of the GMC Hoops doubleheader at the Raritan Bay Summer League at South Amboy Middle/High School on Friday night, the Fords Bearcats took on the Central Jersey Jayhawks in 7th and 8th Grade action. In a rematch of a game played on opening night, the Bearcats broke away from a 28-24 lead late in the first half with a 37-18 surge over the last 25:01 of the contest for a 65-42 victory over the Jayhawks.
