Monroe, Old Bridge, and Piscataway Some of the Winners at EB on Tuesday

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Tuesday evening, GMC Hoops traveled over to East Brunswick School to take in the second day of action at the 2016 East Brunswick Team Camp held there.

All 12 teams including 10 from the GMC (East Brunswick has two squads) were in action, and Monroe, Piscataway, and Old Bridge were among some of the winners.

In its game against East Brunswick II, PWay jumped out to an 11-5 lead, and then gradually increased it to 33-16 at the half before outscoring the Bears by a 37-19 margin in the second half for the easy win.

Trailing by as many as eight in the second half, Old Bridge rallied with a 14-5 tear capped by a Kyle Paris tip in with 7 seconds left for a one point win over North Brunswick.

Bishop Ahr trailed by nine at 38-29 before putting together a 9-3 spurt highlighted by a Sean Kudelka three point play and a Matt Pangniban layup to close within three. However, Matt Hoyt netted a clutch three from the left corner for Monroe, and the Falcons made eight free throws down the stretch to seal the double digit win over the Trojans.

GMC Hoops plans to be down at the Linden Team Camp on Wednesday and the Montgomery Team Camp on Thursday.
