Colonia Falls to East Orange Campus at Linden
LINDEN, NJ–On Wednesday afternoon, GMC Hoops traveled over to Linden High School to take in the action in the 2016 Linden Summer League at Linden High School. The site took in two of the four games on tap including a matchup involving one of the two GMC schools in the Monday-Wednesday League as Colonia squared off against East Orange Campus.
East Orange campus jumped out to a 20-6 first quarter lead by using a combination of a up-tempo game with pressure defense, and never looked back as it cruised to a 71-37 victory. Colonia, which dropped to 0-3 with the loss, were led by soon to be junior point guard, Frank Lehman, and soon to be senior forward, Eric Marcus in defeat. Meanwhile, the Jaguars improved to 2-1 on the summer.
