GMC Hoops Game Notes–EB Tech vs. Jayhawks–Raritan Bay Summer League–July 22, 2016

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–In the first game of the quadrupleheader at the 2016 Raritan Bay Summer League on Friday night, East Brunswick Tech took on the Central Jersey Jayhawks. After EB Tech started the game by scoring off the opening tip, and then netting a three pointer for a 5-2 lead, the Central Jersey Jayhawks put together a 15-1 tear, and rolled from there in a 68-28 win that was a total team effort. Sean Kudelka and Alex Santiago led the charge, but Derek Astarita, Jack Roarty, Eric Sokolowski, and Alex Guketlov also contributed. Dylan Stratton was a bright spot in a losing cause for EB Tech. First Half

17:45–EBT–starts half on a 6-2 run thanks to two high arching threes by Dylan Stratton for a 39-17 JAY lead.

14:01–JAY–timeout after another three by EBT’s Stratton and an assist by Stratton on a layup for a 44-22 JAY lead.

11:47–JAY–on a 7-2 run off layups by Santiago and Astarita and a three from the left corner by Astarita off a kick out by Sokolowski for a 51-24 lead.

10:22–JAY–timeout–after both teams score baskets for a 53-26 JAY lead.

4:34–JAY–scores 5 of last 7 points including a score down low by Roarty and a three from the left wing by Guketlov for a 58-28 lead.
