RAHWAY, NJ–In the first game of the quadrupleheader at the 2016 Rahway Summer League over at Rahway High School, J.P. Stevens took on Carteret in a crossover game between two GMC teams. Led by soon to be junior, Tyrese Conover, the Hawks jumped out to a 17-6 lead, and led 24-11 at the half. Carteret made a game of it with a 19-14 run over the first 15:39 of the second half capped by a three point play from Jemar Jordan to close the gap to 38-30, but Stevens was able to come away with the 42-33 win.
