Immaculata, Motown, and Ridge Remain Tied for 1st; P-Way, and Joes Stay Tied for 4th
SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday, week six action took place at the 2016 Immaculata Fall League with a full slate of nine games including five involving teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference. Two GMC teams emerged victorious on Sunday afternoon and evening.
St. Joseph’s benefited from a forfeit win over Westfield, which kept the Falcons in to a four way tie for 4th place in the league with a 4-2 record. Also tied for fourth is fellow GMC school, Piscataway, which edged Summit, a team playing better as of late. There is still quite a horse race for first place at the Immaculata Fall League.
Immaculata won its fifth straight since losing to East Brunswick on opening night with a 63-46 victory over Middlesex. Morristown defeated Bishop Ahr and Ridge edged East Brunswick to keep pace with the Spartans in a three way tie for first place at 5-1. EB has lost to straight and dropped to .500 at 3-3. Ahr and fellow Blue Division rival, Middlesex are now 2-4. Below are the standings at Immaculata after the sixth week of play:
