Here is a slideshow of photos from the action in Bound Brook’s win over Spotswood in the Championship Game of the 2016 Bound Brook Crusader Classic.
Leading 20-14 after one period, Bound Brook outscored Spotswood by a 13-7 margin in the second including a critical 8-0 run to take a 33-19 lead with 2:19 remaining in the first half. The Brook matched its largest lead midway through the third before Spotswood attempted to rally with a 7-2 run that closed the gap to 43-34, but the Chargers couldn’t get much closer.
The Crusaders closed the third on a 6-5 run for a 49-39 lead, and led again by 14 points with under two minutes to go before winning, 60-48. Four players scored in double figures for Bound Brook including tourney MVP Tyson Amaker (16 points), Kyle Frauenheim (14 points), R.J. Frazier (10 points), and Noah Smith (10 points). Andrew Fuzesi led Spotswood with 12 points.
