In a JV contest, East Brunswick forced overtime, and then in the extra session, rallied from a 35-32 deficit by scoring the last 9 points of the game including a three pointer and several free throws by Christian Kuan for a 41-35 win.
Then, in the first game of the varsity doubleheader, North Brunswick senior guard, Quadir Butler converted a traditional three point play with 1.9 seconds remaining for a 47-44 victory over East Brunswick. Jordan Salisbury led the Raiders with 14 points while Butler and Adryan Salazar chipped in with 8. Gil Wyman led EB in a losing cause with 14 points while Dante Ralph chipped in with 12.
Finally, in the nightcap, South Brunswick trailed 2-0 early on, but then went on a 39-9 surge the rest of the first half for a 39-11 lead, and cruised from there for a 70-45 victory over New Brunswick. Senior forward, Kunal Thakral led the Vikings with 20 points while Mike Ugarte chipped in with 17. Curtis Revan led NBHS in a losing cause with 9.
