Wardlaw Representing GMC Again in Sussex County Holiday Tournament
HOPATCONG, NJ–Earlier this week, GMC Hoops received the 2019 Hopatcong Holiday Tourney Schedule. For the second straight year, Wardlaw-Hartridge will compete in the Sussex County Holiday Tournament. Last year, Wardlaw lost a heartbreaker in the tournament’s opening round to David Brearley of Kenilworth (41-40).
In addition, teams from three different conferences will participate in this tourney: Greater Middlesex Conference, Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference, and Union County Conference. Stocked with a roster of new talent, Wardlaw is looking to win the title after losing both of its games a year ago. Beginning right after Christmas, the tournament’s first round will take place on Thursday, December 26th while the final round of games is set for Friday, December 27th. - Consolation–Central Jersey College Prep Charter-David Brearley loser vs. Wardlaw-Hartridge-Hopatcong loser, 3:00 PM
- Championship–Central Jersey College Prep Charter-David Brearley winner vs. Wardlaw-Hartridge-Hopatcong winner, 5:00 PM
