Raritan Bay Summer League Returns for 2023

South Amboy Based Summer League Looking for Teams

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ – Earlier this month, GMC Hoops was contacted by Tom Reilly of the Raritan Bay Summer League, and learned that the league will be returning this summer.  Last year, the league came back after a two year hiatus due to COVID.  A year ago, a total of 11 teams participated including GMC schools such as South Amboy, Sayreville, Monroe, New Brunswick, Calvary Christian, Carteret, and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Usually the league runs four games per night Monday through Thursday with occasional games on Fridays.  First game normally gets underway at 5:30 PM at the always air-conditioned South Amboy Middle-High School.  The league has been in existence for over 20 years, and GMC Hoops has proudly covered this league since 2004.  GMC Hoops plans to be back for some of the action this summer.

For more information, please contact Tom Reilly via email at either thomas.reilly@co.middlesex.nj.us, or tbreilly77@gmail.com.  You can also reach out to him via phone at (732)-439-5693.  The league usually begins during the month of June.  Last year, the schedule kicked off during the final week of June.
