SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–Don’t look now, but the summer league season is rapidly approaching. Monday will already be the fifth day of May (Cinco de Mayo), and that means that the start of most, if not all, the summer leagues are about a month to a month and a half away. The first of these summer leagues to start will be the Raritan Bay Summer League located at South Amboy Middle/High School. According to the recent series of news and notes from Tom Reilly, one of the league directors, has indicated that the league will begin play two weeks from Monday on May 19th. The league is still looking for teams. As of the most recent update from Reilly, there were 25 teams that spanned four divisions including 3rd and 4th Grade, 5th and 6th Grade, 7th and 8th Grade, and High School. If you are interested in placing a team in this league, please contact Tom Reilly or Gary Lange as soon as possible.
