COLONIA, NJ–On Friday night, opening week wrapped up in the 2008 Colonia JV Summer League at Colonia High School with a full slate of games beginning at 5:00 PM, and continuing at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM before wrapping up at 8:00 PM. Due to work commitments, GMC Hoops was unable to attend the contests, but was able to obtain the results from Colonia JV and assistant varsity coach, Brian O’Lone. Below are the results from the night’s action:
- Perth Amboy 43–Colonia I 30
- St. Joseph’s 44–JFK 35
- St. Mary’s (Elizabeth) 55–South Brunswick 32
- Colonia II 36–Metuchen 25
