UNION, NJ–On Wednesday night, GMC Hoops traveled over Kean University to take in an NJAC contest between Rutgers Camden and Kean. Here is a list of area players that are on the Kean and Rutgers-Camden rosters this season:
Central Jersey Players On Kean and Rutgers Camden Rosters
- Vinnie Darpino (Colonia)–Kean–Played 30 minutes. The Cougars second leading scorer (12.8 ppg) ade 4 of 11 shots overall from the floor for 8 points along with 3 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
- Jonathan Jones (Linden)–Kean–Played 26 minutes. The Cougars leading scorer (14.0 ppg) was limited to half his average with 7 points, but grabbed a game high 12 rebounds.
- Robert Lewis (Scotch Plains-Fanwood)–Kean–Played 10 minutes. Made one of three shot attempts from the floor, and both his free throw attempts for 4 points along with 2 rebounds and an assist.
- Joe Bush (Somerset Tech)–Rutgers Camden–Played 22 minutes. Collected 3 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.
- Richie Jean-Jacques (Woodbridge)–Rutgers Camden–Played 9 minutes. Collected 3 rebounds.
GMC Hoops plans to be out at Centenary College on Thursday night to see the Cyclones in action against Immaculata College.
