2010 Immaculata Fall League–Week Three–Some Results

SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Immaculata High School in Somerville to take in some of the action from the third night of the 2010 annual Immaculata Fall League. The site saw two of the five games played at IHS, and one involved a GMC team. The GMC lost the lone game that we saw. Below are the results from the two contests:

  • Hillsborough 61–St. Joseph’s-Green 55–The Raiders broke away from a 29-29 halftime tie with an 18-2 run over the first 12 minutes of the second half for a 47-31 lead. St. Joseph’s could only get as close as six points the rest of the way. Danny Brix led the Falcons with 18 points, 4 assists, 4 steals, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Kevin Mayce chipped in with 8 points and 9 rebounds while Jimbo Long added 10 points.
  • Columbia-Red 40–Watchung Hills 33–The Cougars from Essex County led by eight with a minute left before winning by seven.
