METUCHEN, NJ–On a very special night at Metuchen High School, the Bulldogs played inspired basketball by jumping out to a 15-0 lead early in the second quarter, and never looked back in a 42-22 victory. The Bulldogs got solid efforts from junior Ryan O’Neill and senior Tim Redshaw in a great overall team performance. Youngsters Artie Flaherty and Tommy Chalker also contributed in the victory. MHS led by as many as 22 points in the second half en route to the win. Below is the play-by-play from the contest.
