NEPTUNE, NJ–On Monday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to the Hoop Group Headquarters to catch the nightcap round of games from the seventh week of action at the 2013 HGHQ Fall League. Sayreville was in action during this hour of play against Neptune, and came up with a fairly impressive win over the Scarlet Fliers. The Bombers led by as many as 14 midway through the second half before Neptune closed the game with a 18-8 run to round out the 60-56 Sayreville win. Corey Taite had a solid game as he hit jumpers from the perimeter, especially in the 2nd half while Rob Seraji netted four free throws down the stretch, and also chipped with with some threes and layins to help seal the win.
First Half

SAY opened the game with a 9-5 lead as Mike Valentin and Corey Taite hit threes while Brian Gay opened the scoring with a layin, and Valentin made 1 of 2 FTs. The Bombers increased the lead to six at 18-12 as Rob Seraji hit a three while Jehyve Floyd added a couple scores.
