Here are highlights of the action between Jayhawks Freshmen squad and the Avenel Redhawks JV team at the 2014 Raritan Bay Summer League. In a game that saw each team have a big run to start a half, the Jayhawks came up with the decisive half opening spurt with an 8-0 run to begin the second that turned a 19-16 halftime deficit into a 24-19 lead that they would never relinquish en route to a 38-33 win. Jordan Wells did most of the damage for the Jayhawks by scoring 6 points in the first half and 9 more in the second for a team high 15 on the night.
