Quite A Few Former GMC Standouts from the GMC Hoops Era that Have Played or Are Playing D1 College Hoops

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–In honor of both the NCAA Final Four, and the approaching 15th anniversary of GMC Hoops, I thought about former players from the Greater Middlesex Conference that played or are playing college ball, and what ones were or are at the Division I level during the GMC Hoops era (my time of covering GMC boys basketball) from 2001-15. Here is the list that I came up with. Let me know if there is anyone that I left out.

Note: Andrew Bynum (St. Joseph’s Class of 2005) had committed to UConn his senior year, but went right to the pros with the Los Angeles Lakers. Samir Sanu (Sayreville Class of 2002) finished his college career at William Paterson. Kofi Genfi (Sayreville Class of 2007) and Jake Dadika (Spotswood Class of 2014) both walked on at Rutgers. Kyle Pearson is now playing D2 college hoops at Pace University in New York.
