Here are highlights from the action in St. Joseph’s by the Sea’s win over South River in JV Division action at the 2016 Raritan Bay Summer League in South Amboy. In the second game of the Friday night tripleheader at the 2016 Raritan Bay Summer League run at South Amboy Middle-High School, South River took on St. Joseph’s by the Sea from Staten Island in a clash from the JV division.
The Junior Rams fell behind early as the Junior Vikings from New York scored the first 10 points of the game, and eventually led 26-12 at the half. In the second half, South River gave up 8 of the first 11 points to trail 34-15, and couldn’t recover as St. Joseph’s by the Sea rolled to a 45-25 victory. Soon to be freshman, Jayvon Taylor stood tall in defeat for South River.
