A four-year varsity player, Nwaigwe has led Piscataway to a 6-0 start this season. The senior forward capped P-Way’s solid start to 2025-26 with big performances in key games against Colonia on Monday and Perth Amboy on Tuesday. In the two games, Nwaigwe averaged 22.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per contest.
In a hard-fought, 75-73 victory at Colonia on Monday evening, Nwaigwe led the Chiefs with a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. Nwaigwe tallied his game-high 25 points on eight field goals and nine from the line. He also collected two assists, two steals, and a block.
The next day, Nwaigwe picked up where he left off by sharing game-high honors with teammate Landon Pernell, while picking up another dozen boards for a double-double. Nwaigwe collected 19 points on 7 field goals and 5 from the line, while also tallying two assists, two blocks, and a steal in an 80-52 win over Amboy.
Through his first six games, Nwaigwe is averaging 19.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks per contest. Piscataway, ranked second in the GMC Hoops Pre-Season Top Ten, is 6-0 heading into the holidays.
